Who we are

Phono Lake Festival is organised by Phono Lake B.V., Willy Sluiterstraat 190, 1061 TJ Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number 98281976.

What data we collect

When you pre-register through the form on phonolakefestival.org, we collect only your email address. Nothing else.

Why we collect it

To send you news and updates about Phono Lake Festival 2026, including line-up announcements and 24-hour early access to ticket sales. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6.1.a / AVG art. 6.1.a), given by submitting the pre-registration form.

How subscription works

By submitting the form, you are added to our mailing list immediately. You will receive a welcome email confirming your subscription. Every email we send (including the welcome email) contains a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can withdraw consent at any time without giving a reason.

Who processes your data

We use Mailchimp (Intuit Inc., USA) to manage our mailing list and send emails. Mailchimp acts as our data processor under a Data Processing Agreement, with EU Standard Contractual Clauses for international data transfer.

See Mailchimp's DPA and Mailchimp's privacy notice.

Cookies & marketing analytics

To measure the impact of our online marketing and to build audiences for future advertising, we use the Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram tracking technology) on this website.

What it does: when you accept tracking via the consent banner, the Meta Pixel loads in your browser and reports page views, clicks, and form submissions to Meta. When you successfully pre-register, we also send a hashed (one-way encoded) version of your email address as a "Lead" event so Meta can match you to ads you may have seen.

Who processes this data: Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd (data controller for EU users) and Meta Platforms Inc (USA), under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. See Meta's privacy policy and Business Tools Terms (which contain the data processing terms).

Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6.1.a / AVG art. 6.1.a). Without consent, the Meta Pixel does not load and no data goes to Meta.

How long: Meta retains pixel event data per their own policy (typically up to 2 years for unhashed identifiers). Hashed data may be retained longer for audience matching.

Withdraw consent: use the "Manage preferences" button above. Setting it to "Decline" stops the pixel from loading on future visits. You can also clear your browser cookies / localStorage to reset your choice.

This site sets no other tracking cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising cookies from other networks, or session-recording tools.
